Accounting Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, be numbers-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent people management skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
