LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Concord, CA. This position is 100 percent in-office! The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as an accountant. The job responsibilities include general ledger month-end close activities, financial statement preparation, posting and adjusting the journal entries, bank reconciliations, analysis, financial reporting, and assist on other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:- Strong general ledger knowledge and experienced preparing financial statements- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits- Excellent knowledge of current US GAAP- Software experience with an ERP system other than Quickbooks- Strong reconciliation skills- Proficient technically with Microsoft Office (Excel - pivot tables & vlookups)- Good communications (verbal & written)- Detailed, analytical, reliable, and organized- Team player, a positive attitude, and quick to learn- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is nice to have
