LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Staff Accountant for one of our customers located in Berkeley, California. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant. The position will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and be responsible for daily cash reconciliation, transaction matching, preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, and assist with projects as assigned. Proficiency in SAP and strong Excel skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:Reconcile cash accounts and ensure accuracy of cash transactions.Match and clear cash transactions to ensure proper accounting.Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting principles.Assist in preparing account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Collaborate with team members to support month-end close processes.Utilize SAP software for various accounting functions and reporting.Analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.Strong understanding of cash reconciliation and account reconciliation processes.Proficient in SAP software and advanced Excel skills.Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience: 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant (Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, Senior Accountant)Employment Type: Temporary (6 months plus)

$40.00 to $45.00 per hour
