Major Responsibilities
Understand general accounting and auditing procedures based on the level of service providedPlan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements of various clients in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service StandardsIdentify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to other engagement team membersPreparation of fieldwork, financial statements, as appropriateIdentify performance improvement opportunitiesDirect communication with clientsParticipate in the budget processThe team member will be assigned to work on a variety of clients in various industriesAll other duties, as assigned.Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree, Masters degree in Accounting is preferredStrong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environmentHave the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required)
Colorado and Nevada Salary Statement:
The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the state of Colorado or Nevada, if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications (e.g. JD / technology).
