We are looking for a
Senior Human Resources Manager
to lead our efforts in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. This role holds a key leadership position, supporting the site's General Manager as a member of the leadership team. The position is based in Stuart, FL, where Pursuit employs approximately 300 people and generates around $170 million in revenue. The position reports directly to the Director, Human Resources for the division and has one direct report.

We're seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager who is passionate about creatively sourcing top talent, partnering with the site's General Manager on people initiatives, collaborating with the leadership team to enhance the employee experience, and continuously pursuing excellence through ongoing improvement activities.
In this Senior Human Resources Manager role:
You'll develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.You'll provide ongoing leadership in developing and refining the business strategy and strategic plan, establishing supporting goals for Human Resources, and ensuring their implementation. You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the HR department.You'll serve as a visible leader for the business, modeling and communicating behavior and expectations that set the standard for ethics, quality, customer responsiveness, and accountability.You'll develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization, including maintaining the Employee Handbook, updating communication areas, and other processes that impact employees.You'll manage the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers, to attract, develop, and retain talented people and sustain a high-performance culture.You'll mentor, coach, and support the development of other HR professionals, including your direct report, helping them achieve their career goals. You'll lead and direct their activities for the site. You'll also demonstrate leadership in HR initiatives across Pursuit and contribute to harmonization and process improvement efforts.You'll work with managers and supervisors to prepare employees for their roles by establishing and conducting new employee orientation and job-specific training programs.You'll nurture a positive working environment and foster strong employee relations, participating in periodic employee meetings and surveys.You'll oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, providing training and guidance to ensure consistency and fairness.You'll counsel employees and supervisors on issues and performance gaps, facilitating and administering disciplinary actions and terminations in consultation with the business.You'll coordinate with the corporate office to administer Pursuit's benefit programs.You'll oversee the company's workers' compensation program.You'll react promptly to and resolve issues, driving resolutions in a timely manner.You'll assess training needs and monitor training programs, including safety training, and coordinate with quality on other mandatory training requirements. You'll also manage training records and review gaps and dates for mandatory training.You'll develop and monitor the annual budget for HR-related costs, working with the finance team to project and forecast these expenses.You'll coordinate and drive employee events and community involvement, occasionally representing the company at job fairs and other recruiting events.You'll facilitate internal and external health and wellness activities.You'll provide human resource generalist services, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies like EEOC, Human Rights, OFCCP, and OSHA.You'll work collaboratively across the organization on policy deployment.You'll interface with customers and regulatory bodies as needed.You'll operate as a strong team leader and builder, focused on generating results through collaboration, influence, and relationship building.You'll perform other various duties as needed or assigned.You'll travel as needed to various Pursuit sites (up to ~5%)You'll deliver results, and you'll love it!You won't find an opportunity like the one you'll find with Pursuit Aerospace. Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of related experience OR a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.At least 7 years of experience as an HR generalist.Preferred Additional Skills/Experience:
PHR/SPHR certification a plus.Advanced degree preferred.Experience in managing direct reports and leading teams in a supervisory role.Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably aerospace.Demonstrable experience using data for HR Metrics and subsequent action planning; including Microsoft excel proficiency.In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company.Experience directly supporting leaders at multiple levels within the organization.Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication, and organizational and problem-solving skills.Working Conditions:
Working conditions generally consist of office and shop floor environments; other than safety glasses and safety shoes, additional personal protective equipment generally not required.May be required to lift up to 20 - 30 lbs. on an occasional basis.Weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
