Job Description
a leading provider of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services is seeking a highly motivated Building Automation Project Manager to join our team. AMi specializes in the design, value engineering, construction and maintenance of HVAC indoor air quality systems in commercial and industrial buildings. Our controls department specializes in turnkey building automation systems, energy management systems, and control system maintenance. Our customers include office buildings, refineries, airports, hotels, clean rooms, universities, laboratories, developers and property managers.
Responsibilities:Responsible to acquire new business, plan, execute, and finalize Controls projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.Perform design, including sequence of operation development, wiring diagram development, control sequence programming, system and equipment selection, specifications and code compliance.Develop controls sequence of operations, shop drawings, purchases and ensures that materials for construction are on-site as needed, device programming, device wiring, and fieldwork to consist of site commissioning/reporting, low voltage electrical wiring, field diagnostics, customer training, customer support through the warranty period and beyond.Site Survey and field verificationQualifications & Requirements:
A. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience5-10 years of HVAC industry experience with concentration in Building Automation Controls5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the industryKnowledge of DDC control systemsKnowledge of Tridium, Niagara, BACNet, Lon and Modbus protocols
