This role is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in BACnet, DDC controls, and advanced control systems while managing the execution of large-scale mechanical construction projects. As a critical player in the commercial mechanical construction industry, you will oversee building automation systems' planning, design, and implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all phases of building automation and control system projects, including scope, schedule, and cost management.Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement BACnet, DDC controls, and system integration with platforms like Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric.Oversee the installation and commissioning of building automation systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timeline adherence.Monitor project progress, resolve technical challenges, and provide leadership to ensure successful completion.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in controls project management, with a proven, stable work history in the commercial mechanical construction industry.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio for design and documentation.Strong working knowledge of BACnet, DDC controls, and familiarity with systems such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, ALC, and Schneider Electric platforms.Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.Equal Employment OpportunityAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
