Job Title: BAS Controls Service Assistant Project ManagerLocation: Seattle, WA
Position SummaryWe seek a dedicated and experienced BAS Controls Service Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical or electrical engineering background, focusing on building automation systems (BAS). This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, AutoCAD, Visio, and DDC controls and experience working with various BAS platforms such as Tritium, Niagara, ALC, and Metasys.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the management and execution of BAS controls service projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of BAS systems.Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to communicate and meet project requirements.Utilize AutoCAD and Visio to create and modify project documentation, including control diagrams, floor plans, and system layouts.Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and work proactively to resolve them.Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and reports.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and best practices, particularly regarding BACnet and DDC controls.Support integrating various BAS platforms, including Tritium, Niagara, ALC, Allerton, Johnson Controls, Metasys, and others.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.At least three (3) years of experience in BAS controls, building automation, or a similar field.Stable work history with demonstrated project management or assistant project management experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio.Strong knowledge of BACnet, DDC controls, and various BAS platforms (Tritium, Niagara, ALC, Allerton, Johnson Controls, Metasys).EIT or PE license is a plus, but it is not required.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Benefits
