Job OverviewWe seek a highly skilled and motivated Controls Project Manager to oversee complex control projects in the commercial mechanical construction sector. This role is critical for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of control systems projects, with a focus on building automation, HVAC, and mechanical systems integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of BACnet and DDC controls and be proficient with AutoCAD and Visio.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for commercial mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.Manage the installation and commissioning of building automation systems, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric. Ensure proper integration with HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.Provide technical guidance on DDC controls, BACnet communication protocols, and related systems. Oversee CAD drawings and system schematics using AutoCAD and Visio.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams. Ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining client satisfaction.Monitor project progress, control costs, and ensure timely completion of all project phases. Address any issues that arise during execution to ensure successful delivery.Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls project management, preferably in the commercial mechanical construction industry.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. An EIT or PE license is a plus but not required.Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, and control systems such as BACnet and DDC controls.
