We are seeking a talented Linux Automation Engineer to join our client's team of about 5-6 Engineers.This role involves designing, implementing, and managing automated systems that enhance operational efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems and experience with automation tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools for Linux environments.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated systems, ensuring high availability and performance.Monitor system performance and implement optimizations for scalability and reliability.Document automation processes and maintain up-to-date system configurations.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Linux and automation.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or Automation Engineer.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl).Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Skills:
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus).Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).What We Offer:
