Department-Specific ResponsibilitiesResearches, conceptualizes, and designs visual elements for use in a variety of marketing and communications needs, adhering to IU brand guidelines.Leads projects as necessary, works with Senior Designers, Creative Leaders, and key partners/stakeholders to determine project needs, ensures design aligns with strategy and objectives, and project is delivered on time and on budget.Designs for digital and print platforms, including selection of colors, images, fonts, logos, and placement for various marketing and communications needs, audiences, and channels.Creates concepts and art direct photography.Creates images, graphic elements, Illustrations, and other visual content using a variety of graphic software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Word.Regularly seeks input from peers, stakeholders, and creative leadership to evaluate effectiveness of creative concepts and executions.Understands and abides by UCM's standardized workflow and QC processes, and utilize appropriate project management tools.Seeks and pursues professional growth opportunities.May provide guidance to part-time Graphic Designers or interns.General Responsibilities
