Junior Web Services Developer
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Junior Web Services Developer to join the Web Applications/Services team. This position is located in our New York, NY office with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote. Fully remote is NOT an option.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate for this position is a detail focused self starter who is comfortable working on a lean, highly productive development team. As a Haymarket Junior Applications/Services Developer you are a hands-on individual who is motivated to provide user centric design for complex front-end applications. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of solid Web API and data centric application experience. Responsibilities will primarily include building and maintaining a new client facing service, as well as interacting with and maintaining existing microservices.
You will need to be a great communicator and team player helping to bridge the gap between design, requirements, and technical constraints. You keep an eye on performance and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends and can understand how they could be applied here at Haymarket.

Thorough grounding in C#, .Net Core/.Net 5 Experience building Blazor applications or writing razor pagesExperience with front-end component libraries (Telerik preferred)Proficient understanding REST, Web APIsFamiliarity working in a ticketed workflow system such as JiraProficient understanding of GitProficient understanding of OOP standards, C# Solid Principles and design patternsKnowledge of TDDProficiency with VS Code/Visual Studio and ResharperNice To Have Skills:
