Description:Ministry Function:
The Junior Web Developer supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by assisting the Digital Product Team in maintaining and enhancing our marketing websites, web applications, and participating in development projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining and updating existing websites, web applications, and APIs used by donors, volunteers, partners, and internal Convoy staff.Manage and update content through WordPress and other content management systems.Learn and implement testing practices (unit/integration/E2E) to ensure code quality.Help maintain documentation to provide clarity and consistency of implementation.Collaborate with the Digital Product Team on technical solutions while learning best practices and development patterns.Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and expand technical knowledge.Support more senior developers in implementing new features and fixing bugs.Assist with other duties as needed.
