Momar is looking for a Graphic Designer!
Momar, Inc., a privately owned, specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta GA, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, while using a combination of typography, visual arts, and page layout techniques.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Transform creative briefs and business goals into captivating visual representations.Illustrate concepts by designing layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, typography, color, and related aesthetic concepts.Foster innovative thinking to generate new ideas and approaches.Establish and adhere to brand and design guidelines, ensuring a consistent and coherent identity.Uphold brand uniformity across diverse divisions and various media platforms.Drive the timely completion of design projects, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget requirements.Engage with Marketing and Technical teams to stay informed about upcoming projects and maintain alignment.Coordinate projects with external agencies, art services, and other resources as necessary.Organize photography sessions for products, equipment, services as needed.Stay current with emerging design programs, technologies, post-production techniques, and industry trends through research, industry publications, workshops, and other relevant channels.Work on a variety of products and activities, such as emails, sell sheets, flyers, catalogs, product packaging, displays, videos, miscellaneous advertising, logos, corporate communications, and corporate identity.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.Self-motivated, capable of working independently and making decisions autonomously.Possesses strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities within set timeframes.Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.Able to evaluate work from customers' perspectives and assess how designs will be perceived, ensuring they effectively convey the intended message.Exhibits a strong team-oriented and customer-focused mindset.Possesses a solid understanding of digital media.Demonstrates the ability to adapt and quickly learn new programs.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Illustration, Interactive Design, Advertising, or a related field/5-10 years of experience in a graphic artist position, demonstrating expertise in composition, typography, and layout.Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.Web design knowledge (HTML and CSS)Additional experience in video creation and editing is a plus.Physical Requirements: Sedentary
Ability to routinely lift and/or move 10 lbs.Frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear.
