$56,616.81 to $60,309.21 depending on prior experience
Training Specialist Responsibilities:
Delivers skills-based training programs for retail division as designated, which include procedures and policies, products and services, and security, ensuring that employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to achieve desired performance results and fulfill customer service needs. Recommends job readiness or remedial training when applicable.Evaluate trainee progress during the various phases of training. Make recommendations for retention, termination or placement into another job.Handle on-boarding period of training. Support MSC and MSS new hires as they transition to Branch or Call Center floor.Monitors calls for new associates in order to evaluate how well new skills are being presented; meets with MSC and Branch management and new hires to discuss observations.Update training manual with applicable ESP revisions. Dispense applicable procedural training updates to department. Facilitate monthly huddles in conjunction with MSC management to review ESP updates, review any procedural changes and receive department feedback. Pass on appropriate comments or concerns to department manager.Deliver one-on-one coaching or training to MSC/MSS reps with below average appraisals or specific areas of concern as requested.Provide weekly feedback during training to management regarding progress of trainees.Send out trainer and training surveys for documentable feedback once MSC/MSS training is completed.Creates on-line learning courses as identified and/or assigned using the on-line learning platform. Ensures that existing e-learning courses are kept up to date.Reports training events and attendance to be recorded in corporate training database to ensure that employee information is captured and easily retrieved for reporting purposes.Manages and maintains training materials, primarily including updated copies of training manuals for MSC training, job aides, E-Learning courses, etc.Answers a variety of questions from employees and others regarding SCCU retail policies and procedures in order to resolve inquiries, educate, and enhance service.Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.product or service for member needs. Can discuss competition and sell SCCU value.Facilitates webcasts as needed.Reports monthly training hours and survey responses for overall tracking.Training Specialist Minimum Requirements:
1-3 years prior training experience required, credit union/banking experience preferred.Prior experience facilitating Sales Training is required.Associates Degree or higher with a concentration in HR and/or Training and Development. Experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.Schedule:
Full Time during department hours of operationMonday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.Flex Scheduling and Work From Home Hybrid options available.
