Performs a variety of installation, diagnosis, and basic repair duties related to the operation and support of computers, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, multimedia and related technologies.
• Creates and maintains records of user service requests• Installs desktop and laptop computer software and software updates• Sets up and configures desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and audio-visual• computing peripherals• Troubleshoots and repairs computer hardware and installs upgrade components• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in software or removing malware• Connects peripheral devices such as monitors, printers, scanners and installs device• drivers• Images computers and prepares laptop carts.• Responds to user questions concerning hardware, software and operations• Tests microcomputer and related peripheral devices for optimal performance• Transports equipment and software to user work sites• Supports on-site, virtual, and hybrid events using A/V equipment or Video• Conferencing Technologies
