About the Role:
As an Athletic Scheduling Specialist (Customer Service Specialist II), you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating schedules for our diverse range of programs, activities, and athletic facilities. Your work will directly support community groups and partners, helping them succeed while ensuring they adhere to permitted conditions. This position demands high-level problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to develop innovative solutions to enhance access to our facilities, particularly for underrepresented and underserved groups.
This position performs work remotely and onsite.

King County Parks' mission is to steward, enhance and acquire parks to inspire healthy communities, and with 205 parks, 28,000 acres of open space, 250 miles of backcountry trail, and 175 miles of regional trails, King County Parks offers close-to-home recreational experiences for everyone. The Property Management & Business Revenue Section is a crucial part of Parks and is responsible for all revenue generated, which includes over $1.5 million in athletic field and open space scheduling.

Remote and Onsite Work Details:
Employees in this role work remotely from home, with onsite reporting requirements typically once or twice a quarter. The frequency of onsite work is determined by business needs and may be adjusted accordingly. Onsite reporting locations may be at various King County worksites including the collaboration space at King Street Center (201 S. Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104). This work arrangement promotes work-life-balance and reduces carbon footprint under the department's vision ofRemote Work Location Requirement:
Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements.Work Schedule:
This full-time position works a Monday through Friday 40-hour work week. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is overtime eligible.Union Representation:
