POSTING TITLE:
Human Resources Field Manager
Position Summary Kalera is seeking an experienced Field HR Manager to be based in our Orlando, FL office. This position is an individual contributor role that includes heavy focus on Employee Relations and HR Generalist duties to support Kalera employees, leaders and Kalera's HR departments nationwide.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities Responsibilities include the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, leadership development, recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, benefits, compensation, employee engagement activities, etc.
To support HR initiatives, 50-70% out-of-state travel to other Kalera office locations will be needed.
Position ResponsibilitiesMonitor employment practices and decisions to ensure fair and ethical practices that foster effective employee engagement, reduce turnover, and promote and maintain a high level of employee morale.Consult with internal customers and offer alternatives and specific recommendations to develop solutions that encourage and support company objectives and philosophies.Investigate employee concerns appropriately to obtain facts and determine findings.HR writing experience is needed, to include performance improvement documents, documenting investigation findings, etc.Consult with corporate legal representatives, outside counsel and all levels of management as needed and directed.Manage the day-to-day Human Resource functions in the local office and other assigned business units/offices to provide ongoing support and assistance with the administration of all Employee Relations/Human Resource-related programs, policies, and procedures.Support recruiting activities and on-boarding of new hires including first-day paperwork, file creation, new hire orientation, assistance with benefits enrollment, etc.Partner with managers on basic employee relations issues, performance management, disciplinary actions, etc.Assist HR Business Partners with LOA, FML, ADA, WC and unemployment claims administrationMaintain human resource information system records (HRIS). Provide onsite employee support for employee questions.Assist with the establishment and maintenance of various employee engagement programs or related special events.Minimum Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in Human Resources.Demonstrated experience and skill in HR Generalist functions in positions of increasing responsibility.5+ years of experience related to Employee Relations.Strong change management background and influential HR Professional with experience working in a transformational environment.Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resource management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training, and education.
