AAC is currently looking for a Chief Systems Engineer to join an already high-performing team of engineers and architects. This position is a key member of the AAC Leadership Team and will be responsible for ensuring deliverable quality and mentoring engineers across all AAC business areas.The successful candidate will:

Review deliverables for quality prior to submission to customers.Have demonstrated expertise in requirements management; reliability, availability, and maintainability assessments;Have demonstrated experience leading and mentoring other engineers and architects across multiple engineering disciplinesHave demonstrated expertise in DOE O 413.3B, Phase Six, or DODD 5000.01 Acquisition Lifecycle processesThis position may be performed remotely from anywhere in the continental US; however, candidates located within commuting distance of Oak Ridge, TN; Aiken, SC; or Amarillo, TX are preferred.

RequirementsMinimum Qualifications and Skills:A Bachelor of Science (BS) in an Engineering DisciplineUS citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearanceExpert interpersonal skillsPrior experience managing acquisitions programs with DOD or DOE acquisition lifecycles (i.e., DOE O 413.3B or DODD 5000.01)Extensive knowledge of Systems Engineering Lifecycle and Engineering Logistics disciplinesAvailable to travel up to 50% of the time15+ years of prior work experience showing progressively increasing responsibilityDesired Qualifications and Skills:Advanced Degree in EngineeringPrior experience within National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) laboratories and sitesFamiliarity with requirements tools such as IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation and simulation packagesProfessional Engineering LicenseBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan - 401k (includes employer matching contribution)Employer Paid Life Insurance (Basic)FSA (Flexible Spending Account)Paid Time OffPaid Holidays OffAFLAC (Supplementary Insurance)Work From HomeTuition Reimbursement ProgramEEO StatementAdvanced Automation Corporation is an equal-opportunity employer.
