Job description :
The Safety Manager will be responsible for defining, proposing, and ensuring compliance with accident prevention policies, standards, and regulations. This includes working with employees, contractors, and federal and state agencies to maintain a safe work environment, coordinating the relationship between plant management and property loss insurance carriers, and utilizing computer and communication skills to design, explain, and implement safety functions and programs.
Responsabilities :
Deploy and manage the Safety Management System, including processes, procedures, methods, and tools.Develop and implement risk management programs for employees and contractors, including training.Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.Conduct safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.Organize emergency drills and manage safety communication internally and externally.Lead and develop the safety culture across all levels within the organization.Your Profile :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or Health and Safety with at least 5 years of experience in the field.Knowledge of safety management systems such as ISO 45001.Experience with safety tools (e.g., JSA, Take 5) and safety management software (e.g., Cority, Enablon).Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and engage stakeholders.Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
