Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in assessing and developing specifications for procuring the appropriate technology to support the College's academic departments, with a focus on integrating systems such as

Canvas , Ellucian

Colleague ,

YuJa , MS Teams, Transact, and Touchnet.Install, configure, and maintain academic systems/servers and services, ensuring seamless operation of the LMS and related academic applications.Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system implementations and configurations, including user guides for

Canvas

and other academic platforms.Support the College's efforts in creating end-user training materials and documentation, particularly for faculty and academic personnel, ensuring effective utilization of tools like

Canvas

and YuJa.Collaborate with and support end users to address their needs related to the administered systems, providing timely solutions and fostering a user-friendly environment.Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to optimize user experience and system functionality.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred.At least 3 years of related work experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.Proficiency in systems administration of Microsoft servers and desktop operating systems in a networked environment is required.Strong working knowledge of networking, Active Directory, VMware virtualization applications, and network-attached storage.Familiarity with major learning management systems (LMS), specifically

Canvas , as well as academic applications such as Ellucian Colleague, YuJa, MS Teams, Transact, and Touchnet.Basic knowledge of common database management and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PowerShell) is desirable.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with faculty, administration, students, and external resources in a diverse environment.Culturally sensitive, demonstrating an understanding and appreciation of a multicultural college community.Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
