Job Description:Work in conjunction with the Client, field staff and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with all applicable OSHAHave the full responsibility for the execution of the Construction Quality Control Plan during the construction phase of the projectMonitor performance standards and coordinate all required testing with the Owner's Representative Prepare all required Production and QC reports on a daily basis and will provide copies of the reports to the Owner's Representative and to the Project Manager.Ensure the project is built within contract document specifications, Owner's requirements, and comply with local, state and federal building codes.Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a schedule for submittals, and to review all submittals for accuracy and completeness, prior to forwarding them to the Design Team and Government for final approval.Work as a member of the Project Team, including subcontractors, to ensure implementation and continuous monitoring of the provisions of the Project Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).Serve as "Competent and/or Qualified Person" for activities including, but not necessarily limited to; Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Scaffolds/Work Platforms, Lead Hazards, Hot Work, and Excavation.Maintain a safe construction site through direction and training of workers, providing PPE and safety equipment and written documentation to maintain accountability of sub-contractor work force.Provide full-time support in the field, on the construction projects, to assure operations are planned and conducted in a safe manner.Interface with Government Safety & Health Officer on site safety & health issues and coordinate preventative measures.Complete Field Safety & Health Report forms and submit as required to Government.Requirements:2+ years' combined experience as a QCM, Project Manager, Project Engineer and/or Construction Manager on Federal Projects. 2+ years' experience as a Construction/Quality Control Manager on Government projectsFive (2) years' experience as a Safety Officer on construction projects.Clearable Prior experience in Quality Control with the following scope preferred: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural.Prior experience working as the CQC Manager on Federal projects, or prior work for the Federal Government in their Quality Control program is required.Willingness to work on-site at Ft.
