Join us to innovate, inspire, and make history in aerospace and defense.Join the F-35 Forward Systems Build Team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where you'll be part of the on-site team dedicated to the advanced assembly of one of the world's most sophisticated fighter aircraft. Located at the northwest end of Building 4, our team ensures the critical systems for the F-35 cockpit and Nose Landing Gear are meticulously plumbed and wired, forming the foundation for seamless functionality. This includes integrating hydraulics, polyalphaolefin fluids, oil, fuel, oxygen, and electrical systems to support the core processing units vital to the pilot's performance and mission success.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGLead and Coordinate Two Teams: Oversee two specialized teams, each managed by a dedicated supervisor.•Systems Integration Team: Responsible for plumbing, electrical wiring, diagnostic testing, and operational checkouts of critical systems.•Structural Build Team: Focused on the installation of aircraft skins, coatings, and structural components.•Communicate Priorities and Goals: Provide clear guidance on daily priorities, constraints, and performance expectations, ensuring that each team operates efficiently and effectively.•Drive Quality and Timely Delivery: Act as a key point of accountability to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget, aligning with customer expectations and reinforcing Lockheed Martin's commitment to excellence.What's In It For You•Be a Pioneer in Advanced Aviation: Join the starting point of the F-35 build-where we integrate the "brains" of the most advanced warfighting machine. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $86,700 - $166,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
