Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Construction Engineer/Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to join their Data Center team! They will spend time on site in Luzerne, PA, as well as in Kimley-Horn's Plymouth Meeting, PA office coordinating between the construction team and the engineering design team.
Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects. You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships. You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Site visits
PCSM inspections with documentation
Close outs: CS forms, as-builts, EPS Coordination, etc.
Respond to RFI's and submittals
Join OAC calls
Coordinate with client construction team, CM, GC, site subcontractors, third party reviewers, etc. as well as Kimley-Horn design staff
Assist in field revision design/coordination.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant engineering construction engineering experience in some combination of industrial, institutional, manufacturing, commercial, renewable energy, power generation, and data center projects
Experience with PCSM inspections, documentation, punch walks, and close out efforst with general contractors and owners
Experience responding to RFI's and submittals
Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction required; Civil Engineering degree is a plus
CPESC preferred or ability to obtain
PennDOT close out experience is a plus
