2025 Global Corporate Banking Full-Time Analyst - Energy

We are looking for a client-focused, relationship-oriented Analyst looking to add value by solving complex problems with our J.P. Morgan Energy Finance group.
As an Energy Analyst, you have intellectual curiosity and drive to contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive banking solutions for your clients. The Global Corporate Banking group is part of Commercial & Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. Global Corporate Banking focuses on small-, mid-, and large-cap companies that require traditional banking services in addition to investment banking solutions. Each of the sectors is extremely capital intensive and, therefore, financing activity is high.
Primary duties include:
Prepare presentation and marketing materials for use in client meetings and transaction execution, covering topics such as financing alternatives, capital markets activity, capital structure and credit ratingsParticipate in all phases of capital markets and syndicated and leveraged finance origination and executionBuild and maintain financial models to evaluate implied credit ratings, debt capacity, creditworthiness, and the impact of various capital structuresConduct industry research and comparable company and transaction analysisCoordinate efforts with deal team members and product partners across the Commercial & Investment BankSupport Credit Underwriting Partners by drafting internal approval packages detailing company/credit analysis along with repayment modelingSupport senior bankers with overall client management responsibilities, idea generation and business initiativesRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Strong corporate finance, analytical, credit and problem-solving skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environmentSelf-motivated, dependable and intelligentBachelor's degreePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Previous experience working in corporate banking, investment banking, or similar rolesCoursework in finance, accounting, or economicsExpected graduation date of December 2024 - June 2025 from Bachelor's or Master's degree program
If you are pursuing a Master's degree, it must be within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor's degree.
Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
