JOB DESCRIPTIONJoin our Global Corporate Banking (GCB) Business Management team and play a pivotal role in promoting key initiatives, shaping business strategy, and optimizing performance across the organization. Business Management optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.
As a Business Manager supporting Subsidiary Banking in North America, you will play a crucial role in promoting key initiatives for North America Inbound business for our global corporate clients. This involves working closely with Subsidiary Banking Business Heads in US and Canada to develop and track progress on growth initiatives strategies & build management reporting and KPI tracking mechanisms. The role also includes working alongside the Subsidiary Banking Global Business Manager to align and include regional agenda with global aspirations.
Job Responsibilities
Gather, analyze and present data and findings to facilitate decision making and business progression.
Coordinate financial management including: pipeline oversight and projections, forecasts, annual budgets, revenue reconciliation and expense management.
Analyze the market position of our clients in NAMR region to develop growth strategies for Treasury Services, Corporate Finance, Markets, Securities Services and other wholesale banking products.
Collaborate across product partners, sales teams and business managers to identify client opportunities to help execute business plans.
Coordinate the client agenda – client selection and coverage, prioritization, relationship status, growth opportunities, and performance metrics.
Influence production of financial reporting and ad hoc financial analytics and data modeling.
Act as trusted advisor and counterweight to NAMR Subsidiary Banking team leads.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Minimum 7 years of post-grad experience in finance, project management, or business management roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to articulate results to diverse audiences.
Team-oriented and flexible, with project ownership skills.
Ability to structure and build quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Professionalism, discretion, and decision-making skills for interacting with senior executives.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Degree in Finance or General Management.
Understanding of business drivers and modeling.
