Summary:
As a Website Manager/Webmaster, you’ll be responsible for supporting the maintenance, development, and optimization of our company's websites and other online marketing platforms. The ideal candidate should have a passion for web development, a basic understanding of digital marketing principles, strive for excellence in accuracy, and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Website maintenance: Assist in updating and maintaining the company's website, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and optimal user experience.
Content management: Upload and format web content, including text, images, videos, and documents, using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Banno, or Drupal.
SEO optimization: Implement basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, such as optimizing meta tags, keywords, headings, and URLs, to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
Manage website, Local Search and SEO agency relationships: Manage 3 rd party vendors delivering website features and enhancements to incorporate website best practices.
Matrix management of cross-functional teams: Lead small teams from marketing, design, IT, product, compliance, and content teams to ensure website content and campaigns are aligned with marketing strategies and objectives.
Website analytics: Assist in tracking and analyzing website performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations for improving user engagement and conversion rates through A/B testing.
Website design and layout: Collaborate with the design team and agency’s to ensure website design elements are aligned with the overall brand guidelines and create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.
Website Performance: Monitor website performance, such as site speed and uptime. Plus, assist in resolving technical issues or bugs as needed.
Landing page creation: Help create and maintain landing pages for marketing campaigns, ensuring proper tracking and integration with marketing automation tools.
Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously research and stay informed about the latest web development trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies to propose new ideas and improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, web development, or a related field.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In-depth knowledge with WordPress, Banno or other CMS platforms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate content on websites.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of basic SEO principles and best practices.
Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Self-motivated and eager to look for solutions when problems arise.
Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
Familiarity with Adobe, Canva or other graphic design software a plus.
Physical Requirements:
The work environment is typical of a standard office setting. The position is sedentary, exerting 0 – 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. It involves sitting most of the time but may also involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Reaching may be required involving extending arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone will be used requiring the use of hands and fingers to manipulate a keyboard or keypad. Visual ability to read a computer screen or written documents is necessary. Speaking ability to express or exchange ideas; impart oral information to customers or to the public; or convey detailed or important spoken instructions by means of the spoken word is required. Hearing is necessary to receive detailed information through oral communication.
