Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Manages the tracking and recording of procurement dates (for example, possession dates, equipment order dates, project start and end dates) by maintaining multiple databases; ensuring accuracy of project deadline data using tracking tools and software (for example, spreadsheets, calendars); preparing project status reports; and executing data queries as requested .
Manages supplier (for example, architects, security consultants, systems integration) product and service outsourcing by negotiating contract terms; ensuring operational cost containment; prioritizing, aligning, and overseeing supplier workload according to program objectives and schedules; ensuring channels for communicating contract schedules and technical information are established and maintained; and monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on program effectiveness.
Manages process improvement programs by evaluating current procurement and contracting processes; benchmarking and interfacing with internal departments (for example, Construction, Compliance, Store Planning) and external stakeholders (for example, suppliers, government agencies, competitors); identifying gaps or improvement opportunities in current processes; and developing and implementing process improvements based on industry trends and best practices.
Manages procurement of equipment and services by developing and implementing procedures for vetting product and service suppliers (for example, insurance, licensure, certifications); designing processes for procurement of equipment and services using company databases and software (for example, SAP, company databases, spreadsheets); and forecasting future supplier needs.
Manages the coordination of contract awards by creating contract addendums; notifying bidders and suppliers of selection and project information; documenting and updating databases; and generating and filing necessary paperwork.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives ; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Required skills
Bachelor's Degree
4 years of experience with IT Vendor Management, specifically with security systems such as control access, fire alarms, CCTV, etc.
