Responsibilities
Create and process purchase orders, verifying accuracy in specifications, quantities, and pricing.
Prepare and send invoices via email or fax as necessary.
Place purchase orders (PO) for Work Orders (WO), machine shop supplies, and other needs.
Order office and warehouse supplies.
Apply for NET 30 terms with vendors.
Locate and purchase technical data/manuals as required.
Manage credit card payments or COD arrangements for purchase orders.
Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm order details, and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely materials receipt.
Assist in tracking inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
Maintain organized records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and related documents in compliance with aviation regulations.
Enter purchasing data into the procurement system, ensuring records are accurate and current.
Generate reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and expenditure trends.
Ensure adherence to company policies and aviation industry regulations.
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Purchasing Manager or team leads.
bilingual role: English, Spanish
Requirements:
Experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within the aviation or aerospace sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
