Overview The Sr Systems Analyst, Marketing Technology is responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting MarTech solutions for loyalty, owned channels and paid media. This role closely partners with peers and leaders in Performance Marketing, Business Technology and Enterprise Architecture as well as with external vendor partners. This position supports the needs of our business by understanding pain points, assessing their challenges, and recommending technology-driven improvements. The responsibilities of this role include analyzing data, analyzing and testing marketing technology systems, developing system documentation and requirements for team-supported platforms, and partnering on marketing technology projects and program initiatives. Responsibilities Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core MarTech applications, including serving as a point of contact for business users. Coordinate with any vendors for escalation of support-related isues. Lead conversations with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for internal technology teams Drive full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support, including integration with other systems, and provide recommendations for enterprise MarTech architecture. Translate highly technical specifications into clear, non-technical requirements Work closely with with marketing vendors to gain detailed understanding of potential enhancements and run cost/benefits analyses for business justification purposes Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance Provide subject matter expertise on all data, processes, and procedures related to MarTech systems Required Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred) Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and execution 5 - 8 years of experience owning marketing technology applications and systems analysis for loyalty programs, CRM execution and paid media strategies 5 years of experience with fashion retail business processes 4 years of experience with SQL, systems analysis and programming 5-8 years of experience pulling, analyzing, and interpreting data 5-8 years of experience with Performance Optimization tuning and techniques 5-8 years of experience with MarTech release management process 5-8 years of experience with data analysis, data modeling, and data / reporting problem-solving 5-8 years of experience with technical support, including documenting, testing, training and implementing new MarTech applications and systems Critical Skills & Attributes Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as a team member Excellent customer service with a focus relationship building and team building skills Ability to prioritize work volume with little supervision Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities Ability to learn quickly across multiple applications Other Details: Location: Open to remote but prefer onsite (Columbus, OH), once every 2-3 weeks (on-site training preferred).
