Job Overview
The Logistics Officer will independently serve as the Subject Matter Expert for associated activities. The Logistics Officer will perform logistics services involving general warehousing activities which include material receiving and distribution, material processing to include associated documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, supply and property inventory activities for materials owned and managed by the customer. The Logistics Officer is the primary interface with customer for daily performance work statement activities.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:Execute the end to end Supply Chain and Property processes as they relate to the customer's requirements.Independently execute related duties, i.e. receiving, inspecting, validating deliveries, scanning equipment, uploading scanner, determining disposition, accounting for property, distributing inbound material, preparing technical documentation, wrapping, banding, packing and crating, marking and labeling, loading and transporting, cleaning workspace, complying with OSHA regulations, moving equipment and furniture, removing worksite refuse, recycling, removing material from storage, and driving trucks (CDL not required).Manage Material Distribution and Tracking (MDAT) Work Requests.Safely operate various Material Handling Equipment and machinery.Manage the accountability of property from end to end utilizing the storage database system.Validate physical material and asset attributes and update asset or material records.Analyze processes and identify ways to improve processes.Develop and generate reports in accordance with contract needs and customer guidelines.Inventory and organize materials, supplies, and equipment using data collection methods in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and US Government. Facilitate discrepancies.Palletize, stack, wrap, band, pack and crate, and otherwise place and arrange items in consideration of their size, shape, weight, quantity, type, barcode/tag number, stock number, letter and number codes, and other storage factors.Report damaged property and materials immediately as outlined by the customer.Provides after hour support for performance work statement activities as required, i.e. inventory.Conduct job hazard analysis to reduce risk in assigned tasks and identify required personal protective equipment.Operates Government or Wolf Creek owned motor vehicles including box trucks, vans, and pick-up trucks (CDL not required).Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements
Mandatory:
High school graduate or equivalent GED.Five (5) years of work experience in Supply Chain and Property in an end to end environment.Two (2) years of experience working successfully in an independent capacity.Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen.Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate (CDL not required) within 30 days of employment.
