WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOResponsible for managing all aspects of facility operations including but not limited to, front of house operations, preventive maintenance, third party contracting, and ongoing venue set-up and tear-downResponsible for overseeing all aspects of the shows including settlement with artistsPrepare and distribute post show reporting for accounting and operationsOversee cash management in the venue and ensure all procedures are being executed accuratelyRecruits, hires, trains and supervises part-time staff/supervisors of multiple departments including but not limited to: security, maintenance, merch, coat check and other event staff.Develops and oversees overhead expense budgets for repairs and maintenance and venue supply expensesWorks with General Manager, to assist in the preparation of forecasts and annual operations budgetMaintains and monitors records of all incident reports and investigates/manages all pending cases, including interviewing staff or other witnesses and attending arbitration hearings when necessaryEnsure optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, such as radios and crowd control devicesInvestigates and resolves guest related complaintsImplementation and execution of all policies, procedures and programs and ensuring that company standards are maintained.Manages event staff new hire onboarding and training for in-sourced positions as well as ensuring proper onboardingManages all training programs and ongoing development of event staff.Oversees Security Guard Certification compliance (PPSO).Development and maintenance of municipality relationships including police, fire, rescue, traffic and other departmentsCoordinate and manage approved subcontractors and third-party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful eventsSchedule event staff and effectively manages and approves all payroll for in-house departmentsResponsible for all required governmental reports and filesThis position oversees and ensures the execution of all operating department compliance policies and proceduresOversee emergency procedure policies and training for event staffWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGCandidate is a proven leader with strong management and communications skillsExtensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management is requiredMinimum two years experience as House/Operations Manager or a comparable roleMinimum 2 years experience settling showsExperience dealing with police and public officialsMust have demonstrated experience managing multiple departments with a large number of staff- ideally experience managing security staff at eventsComputer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent oral and written communication skills are essentialExperience using Workday or time keeping systems is a plusPPSO or Guard Card Certification is required (can be obtained upon hire)Must be willing to work nights and weekends. In compliance with the CO EPEWA, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.The expected compensation for this position is:$65,000.00 USD - $81,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
