About the role
Portex is on the lookout for a dynamic Contract Content Writer. This role will start part-time, with the goal of putting out 3-4 pieces of content a week (see examples here).
This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can create educational pieces as well as demand generation content. You will develop both long and short-form content to communicate Portex's key values as an industry thought leader. Your responsibilities will include researching content topics, writing short form and long form pieces, social media copy, email copy, and analyzing content performance.
What you'll do
Create engaging content for Portex's website, blog, and email nurtures.Research trending topics in the freight industry to craft a compelling content calendar, coordinating and scheduling posts for the blog and Portex socials.Produce long-form content such as customer case studies and blogs on industry trends to strengthen Portex's brand narrative.Set and track key performance metrics to measure the success of content marketing efforts.Qualifications
3+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or journalism.Experience in freight, logistics or supply chain writing is a major plus.Excellent writing skills, preferred experience with freight audiences or similar personas.Analytically driven marketer that aims to maximize content performance across channels.
