SCOPE:
This position is accountable for delivering on NPS targets for the Retail Fuels Division of Christensen. They are to act as the key point of contact for all assigned branded and Unbranded convenience store and truck stop customers in the Whole Sale Fuels division of Christensen, Inc., responsible for carrying out all account management duties. These duties include managing p relationship building, and coordination of all brand-related provisions. The Account Manager reports to the Wholesale Fuels Sales Operations Manager for the division, but regularly acts autonomously to take steps to personify the Customer Value Proposition of the division. The key focus areas for this position is customer retention and issue resolution.
SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES & DELIVERABLESManage customer relationships to drive customer Net Promoter ScoreConduct outbound calls, proactively soliciting sales orders and informing customers of brand-related initiativesManage the Christensen book of business as primary contact for customer needs, often taking calls outside of regular business hours deliver on CVP and NPS goal of 50 or higherEnsure issues are resolved by appropriate party and feedback loop is closed within SalesForce and with the customerCommunicate consistently with customer regarding business goals and objectivesBegin each day with an agenda of delivering Customer Value Proposition to customers that include:Promotions and programs notificationsNotify customers of upcoming promotions, programs, and trainingsEnsure that customer location has proper POPissue resolutionReview with customers credits/debits and bounced EFTs
Act as a Coach to customers on their ordering habits and encourage Christensen managed inventory management "Keep Full / MBIM"Train and set up customers on the portalMarket based inventory management
Direct customers to appropriate help desks and tech companies to resolve point of sale, dispenser, and other site level issuesCoordinate with the logistics team to communicate any adjustments or possible delays in deliveriesIntegral player in successful customer onboarding ensure new customers are properly welcomed with a phone introduction and a welcome packet
Help TM Coordinate the first load for each new customer.Ordering of uniforms, gift cards, nametags, POP, and other site level materials
Work closely with TM on sales leads for potential customers in their marketsVisit customers sites and/or coordinate customer visits on a bi-annual basis.Contribute to Develop the territory sales plans to achieve annual volume, contribution, and expense targetsCoordinating and preparing schedules with TM'sPreparing quarterly reviewsLEADERSHIP & TEAM REACH
This role will coordinate with various departments within the Fuels Group, including sales, customer service, contracts, supply and accounting. This position will report directly to the Wholesale Fuels Sales Operations Manager. This position will also understand and live our Core Values.
