Location: Owego, NYPay Rate: $50-$55/hrOur client:Our client is a leading aerospace and defense contractor. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Owego, NY and is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last approximately 1 year. With the opportunity to convert permanently. This role is on-site, so you should be comfortable commuting to Owego. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Apply quality principles in areas such as design, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory control, and R&D for both in-house and outsourced products.Conduct technical evaluations, including analysis of product requirements, specifications, designs, and procedures to ensure quality compliance.Work with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to address and resolve quality-related issues.Participate in product failure investigations, material review boards, and the development of corrective and preventive actions.Ensure corrective measures align with reliability standards and regulatory requirements.Develop strategies to enhance internal and supplier performance, aiming to increase productivity and quality.Evaluate and improve quality systems by identifying and correcting deficiencies.Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, equipment, and mechanisms.Perform statistical analysis to assess and rectify non-conforming products or materials.Engage in the supplier selection process and manage certification programs.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.Experience: Aerospace or similar aeronautical industry experience required.Technical Skills:Experience in metrics development, process analysis, data mining, and corrective action development.Proficiency in aircraft subsystems installation and system checkout processes.Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.#IND-2Datrose is an equal opportunity employer.
