Job Description
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
What You Will Do with JT4
The
Cybersecurity Analyst
Level III will manage, monitor, develop, and help secure a variety of IT infrastructure, information systems, and analyze cybersecurity threats. Act as an ISSO to create update system security plans, develop plans of action milestones, manage IT asset management programs, and conduct audits. Assist the ISSM with incident response plans, vulnerability assessments, and assess the security impact of changes in a classified environment. Interface, consult and guide multiple clients and upper leadership through the development lifecycle while adhering to all the Department of Defense regulations and requirements.
JOB FUNCTIONS ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Conduct research keep updated with current government cybersecurity standards, codes, requirements, and regulationsAnalyze cybersecurity engineering activities, information assurance and security assessment and authorization in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 or similar risk management frameworksAct as an ISSO and interface with clients, customers, and external contractors to guide new IT systems through the appropriate approval process while supporting hardware, software, networking requirements within the limitations of the cybersecurity architectureLead risk assessment analysis and propose mitigations to vulnerabilities in system security architecturesLead and proactively manage teams and tasks fully with little supervision or direction, author reports, correspondence, and technical studiesCoordinate schedules, manage projects, oversee inventory, assist in organizing major events, and perform other job-related duties as requiredDESIRED EXPERIENCE
Planning, designing, executing, and leading discussion-based cybersecurity assessments such as cyber-table-top exercisesFormulating and/or interpreting cyber threat analysis of adversary techniques, tactics, and procedures used to disrupt computer networksPlanning, organizing, and working under strict DoD rules, codes, and deadlinesProficiency in using security tools and technologies commonly employed in DoD environments, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, endpoint protection, security information event management, and security orchestration automation response systemsCreating solutions to both technical and non-technical issues that arise from interfacing with clients, customers, and other third partiesA great candidate will have an industry certification like: Security+, CISA, CEH, CySA+, CEH, or CISSPREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer / information technology / cybersecurity, or equivalent academic/technical training/certification and 6 years of experience in computer systems security, and/or related area of expertise.
A
CompTIA Security+ certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be a U.S Citizen and hold a valid, state-issued driver's license.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $112,000 to $134,000 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal; constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents; constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication; and constant mental alertness are required for this position.
Routine travel to remote company work locations and work in field environment with occasional overnight assignment may be required.
