Are you living your life's work?Pennsylvania Hospital is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding inpatient post-partum team. As a provider on our Baby Friendly designated post-partum units, you will provide direct patient care services in collaboration with a collaborating physician to patients that have recently given birth, either vaginally or by C-section. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.The Nurse Practitioner will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team; performing physical exams, collecting and documenting data, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing appropriate interventions and medications, and providing education to patients and their families.The Women's Health NP works with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care outcomes for this select group of patients and contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and provides leadership in the organization.The CRNP will report directly to the Women's Health Lead and up through the Director of Advanced Practice at Pennsylvania Hospital. Oversight for the CRNP's clinical practice will be provided by the Collaborating Physician. In addition, the CRNP will be accountable to the department for clinical outcomes and clinical productivity.This individual will be required to work 12 hour shifts, 72 hours per 2 week schedule.
