Are you living your life's work?The Women's Health Division has a need a for a part time, dayshift, Advanced Practice Provider with experience in Gynecology Oncology. Inpatient Gynecology Oncology Advanced Practice Provider Service: Join us in caring for patients with malignancies and complex co-morbid conditions. Work with an elite team of committed advanced practice providers and collaborating physicians in the care of this special patient population. Care for patients undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatments and immediately post-surgical interventions. Be at the forefront of gynecologic oncologic research and innovative care. Utilize your education and experience to maximize oncology care in this exciting, fast-paced environment. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, while providing quality care across the continuum in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the care team, performs histories, physicals, and procedures according to credentialing, and provides care and patient/family teaching following the nursing process. Also participates in research as appropriate, ensures regulatory compliance, documents care according to standards, and prescribes in accordance with their collaborative agreement and Pennsylvania State regulations. The qualified candidate must be a Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care required) or a Masters prepared Physician Assistant.Master's Degree is required, current licensure or eligibility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and eligibility for credentialing by the medical board. Oncology experience as a Nurse or as a Provider preferred. New graduates will be considered on an individual basis. This individual will work part time, 20 hours/ week (two 10-hour shifts).
