Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communications channels.Internal and External Communications: Ensure clear, consistent and effective communication to strengthen stakeholder relationships.Campaign Management: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, events and more.Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that supports marketing and communication objectives, including the creation of engaging and compelling content for different platforms and audiences.Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media marketing, and search engine optimization.Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry.
Use this information to refine marketing strategies and tactics.Public Relations: Manage media relations and public relations activities to enhance the organization’s reputation and manage its public image. Serve as Chief Spokesperson for the Americas.Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business communications or related field required, Master’s degree preferredTen or more years of applicable experience working in a corporate marketing and communications department in a mid to large size company.Experience in global or multi-national marketing and communications experience preferredExceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, additional Spanish skills preferableCreative mindset and demonstrated strong project management and organizational skillsFamiliar with digital trends and the current social media landscapeFamiliar with content management systemsMust be self-starter and able to use independent judgmentAbility to lead and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects especially in times of crisis.Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsAbility to develop and manage relationships with outside vendors and associations
