Professionally represents GH PhippsEstablish and foster long term, positive relationships with internal customers and external business partnersExecute GH Phipps policies and procedures in accomplishing workEmbrace a LEAN culture and work environmentProvides leadership, guidance and visionSupports Project Manager in staff meetings, month-end reviews, design review meetings, task force meetings. Participates in operating report meetingsManages direct reports' performance and is responsible for mentoring direct reportsManages project exit strategyAdministers GH Phipps' risk management programActs as chief problem solver on all design issues where applicableProvides final approval in the development of subcontract agreementsAssists the Project Manager with fiscal responsibilities including final approval of monthly projections, invoices and change ordersAssists the Project Manager in final approval of PCOs for submittalIs responsible for project schedule updates and managementIs responsible for project baseline CPMReviews project equipment selection for both in-house and OSRWorks with Project Manager manage overtime approval requestsDemonstrates strong construction process and knowledge of building codesEffectively leads and delivers on key project commitmentsIs responsible for material delivery schedules and implementing change managementCommunicates with the Project Manager, other superintendents, subcontractors and field leaders to ensure project status and any changes are known to all involved partiesSupports the development of team member competencies and skill sets. Maintains regular communication with team members and actively engages with General Superintendent in team support and problem-solvingIs responsible for job set-up, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, QC and project closeoutIs responsible for the completion of daily logsIs responsible for completion of the job start-up checklistIs responsible for the completion of electronic jobsite paperwork filingEnforces the details of the subcontract agreements and Attachments A, B and CIs responsible for weekly planners for short interval schedulesParticipates in preconstruction meetings with subcontractorsChairs weekly subcontractor Foreman meetings; mentors foremenWalks the jobsite at least once each day to ensure safety, quality, and job progressManages site, building and interior layout controlIs responsible for adherence to shop drawings and project documentsReviews shop drawings for conformance to contract and field conditionsManages third party testing and resolution of non-conformanceIs responsible for Architect/Consultant's observation reports and resolution of non-conformanceSupports and enforces the requirements for jobsite safety. Completes reports as required in the Safety Manual.Assists supervisor with accident reportingIs responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programsVerifies that JHAs are utilized on the jobsiteManages material delivery/procurementVerifies adherence with GH Phipps' SDS programDirects GH Phipps' Quality Assurance ProgramIs responsible for as-built/record drawings and specificationsActively participates in, and provides required deliverables for, all 5 steps of the pre-planning processProvides constructability reviews for each set of progress drawingsReviews soils reportsConducts pre-award meetings with all major scopes of workDevelops the site logistics plan in collaboration with the Project Manager, and assists in the development of the Stormwater and site-specific safety plansEmbraces a lean culture and work environmentMentors and trains direct reportsUnderstands details of owner contractsManages permits and inspections for AHJsThis position is considered to be a safety sensitive and requires full adherence to all safety guidelines issued by companySkills

$ 97,000 - 170,000 and is dependent in experience and title/rank of position offered.
