Tesla is seeking a Sr. Service NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer to expand Energy Service Engineering's ability to monitor, maintain, and upgrade a diverse fleet of Energy Products. This role supports Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy by improving the systems and parts required to service Tesla's Energy Products - including Megapack, Powerpack, Supercharger, Solar Roof, and Powerwall.

The Sr. Service NPI Engineer will be responsible for rapidly solving some of Tesla's most challenging problems while collaborating across departments such as finance, engineering design, reliability, manufacturing, service operations, supply chain, business analytics, technical publications, training, and tooling.

Degree in Engineering or related field (Industrial Engineering, ME/EE, Engineering Management, Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Process Engineering) or equivalent experienceMinimum 3-5 years of experience working with design engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or New Product Introduction in a high-volume product environmentFamiliarity with CAD programs (Catia, AutoCAD, Pro E, or similar) and familiarity with review of 3D highly complex modelsExperience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as Enovia, Teamcenter, SolidWorks, or similarStrong Data and System Analysis skills (Python, Matlab, R, SQL, Power BI, Pandas, NumPy, or Excel).Demonstrated success with Project Management involving multiple engineering disciplines and tight timelinesExperience managing technical projects and products, with a solid understanding of product lifecycles from Design to Delivery to Operations and beyondDemonstrated ability to drive collaboration across functions and levels without explicit authorityExperience with Jira and Confluence or MS ProjectCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$100,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
