We are looking for an
experienced dealership controller who can lead with integrity, as well as educate and supervise.

Report directly to Group Corporate ControllerResponsible for closing the monthly financial statement with the help from shared services team.Ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirementsAssume primary day-to-day and overall responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all dealership accounting and finance related activitiesProvide technical accounting expertise and hands-on support to dealership staffManage 2 accountantsCollaborate with the other Controllers/Accounting Managers to ensure consistency and alignment across the organizationResponsible for treasury functions of the dealershipAssist with store audits and reporting.Coordination with tax accountant on annual tax returnsAssist with preparation of the company's annual operating and capital budget.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.Skills/Requirements
Previous
Automotive experience
needed.Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in finance or accounting, licensed CPA preferred but not necessary.5+ years of total experience in accountingProven supervisory skills with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacityAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelComfortable with operating multiple application systemsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligenceMust be able to pass pre-hire screening that includes a background check, MVR and drug screening.
