What You'll Do:
The Global Corporate Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the Chief Executive Officer to communicate and execute the company's strategic vision. The CFO will lead and continuously improve the finance and accounting function, ensuring scalability, and interfacing with the board of directors using an analytical and data-driven approach. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to identify and capitalize on growth and operational excellence opportunities in a professional services firm.
Candidates in the Boston, Minneapolis, or Tulsa locations highly preferred
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy Development:
Align financial strategies with business objectivesFinancial Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with investor and lender requirements.Financial Planning & Analysis:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide insights to optimize performance.Capital Allocation & Investment Management:
Oversee capital decisions and investment strategies to maximize returns.Treasury Function : Oversee cash management, adequate liquidity to meet obligations, bank relationships, interest rate and foreign exchange management, debt management, and treasury operations.Risk Management:
Implement risk management practices and develop contingency plans including expense policies and corporate credit card programs and controls.Audit and Tax:
Acting as the primary liaison between the company and external auditors, facilitating the audit process. Manage corporate and payroll tax compliance.Strategic Partnerships:
Cultivate relationships with investors, financial institutions, lenders, and advisors.Operational Efficiency & Performance Improvement:
Collaborate with operational teams to enhance efficiency and profitability.Leadership & Team Development:
Lead and mentor the global finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field.MBA or advanced degree a plus12+ years of senior leadership experience with strong performance.Experience engaging and presenting with executive teams, boards, and private equity investors.Experience with M&A a must have7+ years in a leadership role leading a global teamProven ability to attract, develop, retain, and motivate top talent.Excel in fast-paced, lean-team environments.Proven success as CFO or finance leader in a multi-national professional services or similar company.Experience in driving efficiency, cost containment, and operational improvements.Competence in implementing financial controls, management systems, and performance measures.Understanding of US GAAP and current accounting standards.Analytical and data-driven decision-making approach.Hands-on leadership with business maturity, intellect, and integrity.High urgency in reporting accurate financial results.Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team including hiring, mentoring, and developing a global, geographically dispersed team.Understanding and experience with accounting software such as Power BI and ERP software including Dynamics FNO ModuleBenefits
