As the I-ERP Integration Manager, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing all integration-related activities, both within I-ERP and externally (with other Ford business organizations and external vendors). This includes providing leadership and oversight for all data conversion efforts, ensuring a smooth and accurate migration of data. This also includes aligning business processes, managing build and testing activities, coordinating program plans, and managing dependencies, resources, and funding.
Responsibilities
Lead Cross-Team Integration:
Resolve and align on cross-team and cross-release integration issues and decisions. This includes aligning business requirements, technical architecture, resources, timelines, and funding with internal and external teams.Data Conversion Management:
Manage all aspects of data conversion efforts, leading extract, transform, and load (ETL) activities. This encompasses:
Analyzing source data to understand its structure and identify potential conversion challenges.Developing a detailed data migration plan, including data mapping, transformation rules, and validation procedures.Designing and implementing ETL processes to move data from the source system(s) to SAP.
Release Coordination:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate release-specific deployment activities and requirements, including testing and cutover.Horizontal & Vertical Alignment:
Coordinate activities across horizontal (functional teams) and vertical (non-functional teams, including technical/foundational teams, organizational change management (OCM), and supplier enablement) to ensure seamless integration.Issue Resolution & Design:
Lead the resolution of complex integrated design issues across project teams, working with release managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.Reporting & Risk Management:
Regularly report on integration progress, issues, and risks to the program leadership team.Performance Testing:
Lead the implementation of load and performance testing for the program.Data Ownership:
Support the development of an approach for establishing ownership of key data objects shared across business functional teams.Progress Monitoring & Issue Escalation:
Monitor progress on critical path activities and cutover execution. Escalate and resolve issues promptly.Meeting Management & Sign-off:
Manage necessary integration meetings and integration deliverable sign-off processes.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on large-scale data migration and conversion projects.Minimum: Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or related.Significant experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA (TRM & Cash Management). A strong understanding of SAP's data model and integration capabilities is essential.Expertise in data mapping and transformation techniques, including ETL tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, SAP Data Services).Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for data manipulation and automation.Experience with data quality assessment and validation; ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor communication to different audiences.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence and motivate individuals who are not direct reports; proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.Demonstrated proactive, positive attitude and problem-solving abilities.Nice-to have skills
Understanding of Treasury/Finance functional areas and applications.Familiarity with scaled agile methodologies and project tracking tools (e.g., Rally, ALM).Familiarity with Product Driven Organization models.Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data migration and storage.Vendor and system integrator management experience.Experience working in a financial services environment.Experience with Wall Street Suite Version 7 or higher, including its data structures, tables, and functionalities (e.g., Portfolio Management, Trade Management modules).
