We believe that identifying, attracting, developing, and retaining talent are significant actions because our people are so important to us.Contracts AdministratorJOBPURPOSE:This position will be responsible for reviewing commercial and governmentcontracts to ensure they meet legal requirements and align with Company goalsand policies. The Contracts Administrator will report to the ContractsAdministration Manager, who has oversight for contract preparation andnegotiations throughout the Company. The Contracts Administrator willhave discretion in dealing with internal employees and the Company's clientsand vendors in the drafting, review, negotiation and administration ofcontracts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

(Otherduties may be assigned:Performscontract review and drafting, creating detailed contracts for variousbusiness needs, subject to final approval by the Contracts AdministrationManager and/or the Assistant General Counsel.Ensurescontract terms comply with applicable laws and regulations and Companypolicies.Developsand maintains standard contract templates common to the oil field servicesindustry to facilitate execution while providing customary legalprotections for the Company.Communicateswith internal clients and/or contracts administrators at the Company'sclients and vendors to negotiate favorable contract terms.Addressesand resolves disputes or disagreements with contract counterparties duringnegotiations.Providesadvice, recommendations and interpretation of contract terms, legalobligations and risk exposure to business unitmanagement.Workswith business unit leaders to develop strategies for minimizingcontractual risk.Prioritizescontracts and regularly communicates with the Contracts AdministrationManager regarding status of contracts under review leading to finalexecution.Collects,catalogues, and manages all contracts between the Company's business unitsand their clients.Maintainscontract management processes and tools to track status of contract reviewand allow for efficient retrieval of documents.Responsiblefor other duties as may be assigned.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or humanities (or relatedfield) required.EXPERIENCE:A minimum of three years of relevant industry experience required in oil andgas (preferably the oil field services industry).

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:None required.

KNOWLEDGE:This position requires experience in the oil and gas industry, as well as anin-depth understanding of the structure of contracts common to the oil fieldservices industry, including master work agreements, framework agreements,commercial tenders, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements and guarantyagreements. Must demonstrate the abilityto understand the significance of contract provisions within the context of theunderlying transaction.

SKILLS:Must have strong interpersonal skills, working closely with the ContractsAdministration Manager as well as internal and external clients in negotiatingand finalizing contract terms.Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Access,or comparable database software).

ATTRIBUTES:Must be able to interact with clients to help reach a consensus on the finalterms that should be approved with the Law Department having ultimate authorityon legal questions.Mustbe highly organized and detail-oriented, managing multiple contract reviews andworkflows and collaborating with subject-matter experts within the G&Afunction (e.g., Legal, Tax, Accounting, HSE, Credit, Treasury and Risk).Mustdemonstrate ability to analyze and interpret legal documents, financial reportsand technical documents and possess strong legal writing skills.Ashort essay writing exam will be administered as part of the applicationprocess.Core Laboratories, including all of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
