We're hiring a Product Manager!
Reporting to the Director, Product Management, the ideal candidate for the Product Manager role is dynamic and high-energy with a sound business acumen and passion for building great customer journeys and software. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving complex problems and is motivated by working on products that help people connect with high quality care and education for their child. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of being able to uncover product opportunities, propose solutions, plan and deliver strong results. This role interacts regularly with cross-functional teams and requires the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively.
Location: Hybrid (remote and in-office)
Schedule: Working hours begin at 9AM EST
What you will be doing in this role:
Analyze user and business data, feedback and research to understand internal and external customer needs to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve business objectives.
Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of the needs of customers, clients, competitors and the industry.
Create business cases to evaluate new product and feature opportunities
Gather and document high level and detailed product requirements to create product roadmaps and maintain a product backlog.
Translate requirements into functional specifications (user stories).
Coordinate closely with Engineering to drive product vision and refine product requirements.
Manage the lifecycle of the product from market requirements to product release, implementation, adoption and iteration.
Evaluate and resolve barriers related to business and technical feasibility, ensures design optimization and cross-functional alignment, and supports troubleshooting of production issues
Communicate effectively with engineering, sales, marketing, implementation and leadership to facilitate the product lifecycle
What we hope you will bring to this role:
5 years of product management experience
Experience with B2C SaaS-based solutions
Experience with a CDP product like Microsoft D365 or Salesforce
User centric mindset with strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
Experience using product analytical tools, such as Pendo to measure outcomes
Experience with software project management tools, preferably ADO
Strong project management, organizational skills, and an understanding of how to develop functional requirements.
History of proven results delivering high quality, customer-driven products on time
Goal-oriented, must be able to demonstrate success meeting and exceeding business objectives.
Self-starter with ability to drive decisions and lead projects from start to finish.
Exceptional decision-making, prioritization, and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships across all organizational levels, i.e. peers, vendors, clients
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
The salary range for this position is $105,000-$110,000.
