If you're passionate about this, we want to hear from you! About the Role MWHis currently seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and improving our systems and network infrastructure. This role is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to grow their skills in systems engineering and administration. Essential Functions Systems Support: Assist with Microsoft 365 Administration and Azure Virtual Servers, basic network management, and 3rd party software administration. Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure systems and networks are running efficiently and securely. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes. Security: Support the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect systems and data. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, helping to resolve hardware and software issues. Computer Imaging: Using Microsoft Intune and NinjaOne assist in creation, maintenance, and deployment of images to company devices Automation: Learn and assist in automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other IT team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Learning: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge by participating in training sessions and obtaining relevant certifications. Qualifications Technical Skills: Understanding of operating systems, Windows, IOS Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Basic scripting skills with PowerShell is advantageous. Understanding of cybersecurity principles. Demonstrated identity management administration and general security best practices Soft Skills: Excellent written documentation skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Excellent customer service Demonstrated ability to communicate orally, in writing, and in a public presence. Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with very little supervision.
