Job Opportunity: Construction Program Director
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving successful construction projects from concept to completion? We're looking for a Construction Program Director to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, this role will manage a high-functioning team and oversee each phase of commercial and residential builds.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completed a degree in a Construction-related program.
5-10 years of experience in Construction Management.
5-7 years of experience managing a high-performing team of 20+ members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience in the restoration, renovation, and construction of both commercial and residential buildings.
Expertise in design interpretation and scope development.
Proficiency in construction software and applications, including Buildertrend and Power BI.
salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal/external business partners and clients.
Maintain positive client relationships, providing regular project updates and coordinating with key stakeholders to resolve issues.
Demonstrate a collaborative mindset to support both internal and external customers.
Exhibit strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Lead and train construction staff to meet departmental goals.
Manage all project phases, including RFP, procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, execution, and closeout.
Set and monitor staff and department deadlines, providing mentorship and coaching as needed.
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
Manage costs efficiently, ensuring responsible use of resources and funds.
Analyze financial progress by reviewing revenue, expenses, overhead, and profit.
Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
Prepare and present performance reports on quality, cost, production time, warranty, and equipment costs.
Resolve complex operational and organizational challenges, using internal and external resources.
Guide staff on safety matters and provide leadership in generating construction documents, ensuring design intent.
Supervise staff development, including training, performance evaluations, and mentoring.
Oversee recruitment and hiring processes.
