Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Deskside Support Supervisor to lead the upgrade of 2400 devices to Windows 11 (1300 devices do not currently support Windows 11, and the other 1100 do) for a local healthcare client. As a Desktop Support Supervisor, you will oversee the imaging of workstations (10%), coordinate and manage deployments (60%), and handle various coordination tasks (20-30%). You will communicate with managers, provide training/guidance, and track rollouts and upgrades using SCCM and other deployment tools. Your role includes ensuring applications launch correctly and providing desktop support from an end-user perspective. While you wont be involved in packaging, you will work with asset management and use deployment tools effectively to ensure a smooth transition to Windows 11. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating reports and presenting to leadership on project statuses, including any delays in meeting goals. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential for this role.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years' experience within desktop/deskside support
Strong experience with Windows SCCM/MECM
Hands on experience with both Windows 10 & 11
Imaging PC/Workstations, refreshing devices, and deployment
Experience managing or leading Windows 11 upgrades and deployments from Windows 10 for 500+ devices
Experience with project coordination/management
Giving presentations/updates to stakeholders
Tracking projects via Excel, Project Management software, or other method
Strong communication skills and professionalism (will be working with clinical stakeholders in a hospital environment)
Ability to pass a drug screening which includes Marijuana + willingness to stay up to date on flu vaccines (not including Covid-19) Healthcare experience
Experience or knowledge of Citrix, Vmware, or Windows Servers
Active directory and group policy experience null
