Job description:Capgemini is seeking an SAP Energy & Utilities Solution Architect to join our team in Canada.As an SAP Solution Architect, your role will involve collaborating within a team to tackle intricate business challenges spanning from strategy conception to execution.
Location: Toronto / Vancouver
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties will encompass, but are not confined to:
Serves as a senior IS-U solutioning specialist for a consulting practice with regional or global scope; primarily responsible for solutioning the delivery of the organization’s professional architectural services
Supports market strategies and plans and executes them to develop profitable projects.
Supports Capgemini deliver SAP IS-U & CX solution to clients with their journey to more standardised SAP solutions and adoption of best practice solutions
Supports Capgemini SAP solutioning consultants within the practice and shares knowledge to engage the capability across solution and architecture teams.
Has oversight responsibility for key client engagements. Ensures that solutioning and architectural aspects of those engagements meet current requirements and achieve appropriate future proof targets as appropriate.
Builds strong business relationships with current and prospective clients. Contributes thought leadership and gains genuine understanding of client business. Establishes and articulates innovations and growth opportunities for clients and the company.
Influences decisions and project direction at the executive level.
Ability to lead evaluation activities and business case development for Capgemini clients.
Required Skills:
SAP ECC to S/4HANA Technical conversion experience with at least 2 conversion / Bluefield / Greenfield projects exposure as a Solution Architect for Energy & Utilities clients
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Utilities, Service Cloud, MPM, Enterprise Asset Management and other core modules
High-level view on impacts of FICO, DTC, OTC, PTP, MDM, and Warehouse Business Operations in SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion.
Work with functional/Technical/Basis and other streams to create the detailed plan, and activities and drive the plan as a solution architect example – Sandbox, Development, QA, etc. system conversion plan, workshops, pre-conversion and post-conversion activities, code remediations, etc.
Experience of Fiori Apps activation & Implementation and SAP Build work zone.
Guide teams on simplification items remediations for Functional and Technical streams.
Analysis for Code Remediation, process gaps, estimations, and effort, staffing requirements, SOW writing, review, signing, and Client presentations.
SAP ECC to S/4HANA Technical Conversion or S/4HANA Implementation experience for Utilities customers (Electricity/water/gas).
